He said that this year a joint project is being implemented in cooperation with UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) to monitor the planting and maintenance of saffron in the village of Mazdeh Khalilabad, noting that in this project, with the help of an agricultural expert to hold training classes Supervision of saffron cultivation and maintenance has been piloted in Mazdeh village of Khalilabad city.
Ahmadinejad pointed out: 400 tons of chemical fertilizers have been distributed to support saffron growers. Also, in order to increase the productivity and disinfection of saffron onions and the use of high quality and large onions, the experts of this management have made continuous visits to the saffron farms under construction.
