600 hectares of saffron fields in Bardaskan are thirsty

The governor of Bardaskan said:
more than 600 hectares of saffron farms in Bardaskan are thirsty.

Mohammad Ismail Yaghoubzadeh, pointing out that the saffron harvest season is near in the Kuhpayeh region, said:
More than 600 hectares of farms in the Kuhpayeh region need water supply and 2,500 families in this region are waiting for the help of officials.

The head of the Bardaskan Crisis Management Coordination Council added: Unfortunately,
due to the drought, all the canals and springs in the foothills have dried up and the only income of the people of this region is saffron.

He stated:
with the follow-ups done and the agreement of the governorate and the regional water of the province,
a permit was drilled for the city to dig a crisis well, and Jihad-e-Keshavarzi carried out and equipped this important thing with debt.

Yaghoubzadeh said:
Currently, we do not have a problem in terms of water supply, but to transport water

He added:
In this regard, correspondence has been done with Jihad-e-Keshavarzi in the province,
which unfortunately the Jihad-e-Keshavarzi of the province does not go under and they have announced
that Jihad-e-Keshavarzi has no plan or credit regarding water supply to saffron farms.

Due to the crisis in the city, we have no problem in terms of water supply, but we need 15 tankers to transport it.

Hamid Hajinejad added:
Considering that the irrigation season of saffron farms in the foothills has begun, at least over a period of 40 days

He said:
If the authorities do not provide the necessary support for this important issue,

He pointed out:
If the governor’s office orders the dispatch of 15 tankers to the city,
we will not have any problems in terms of water supply and we will be able to irrigate saffron fields within 40 days.
