The director of Sarbisheh Jihad-e-Agriculture said: At present, 667 hectares of Sarbisheh agricultural lands are under saffron cultivation.
Seyyed Hassan Razavi announced the beginning of saffron onion planting in Sarbisheh in September and stated: Currently, 667 hectares of Sarbisheh agricultural lands are under saffron cultivation, which is expected due to the limited water resources in the region and the high water productivity of this crop. The director of Sarbisheh Jihad-e-Keshavarzi continued: These projects will include three projects for rehabilitation and repair of aqueducts, two low-pressure irrigation projects, direct employment of 9 people and indirect employment of 36 people in the city.
Razavi continued: Among these, a low pressure irrigation and aqueduct restoration project will be inaugurated on behalf of other projects, in which 268 families have benefited from the benefits of these projects.
