Harvest of saffron flower
Noting that the harvest of saffron officially the next 10 days ( November first ) starts saying in warmer climates harvest between 10 and 15 days later than the start date of December 15 is going on.
He added that due to favorable rains in March , April and May , a significant increase in product prices and saffron acreage increased 10 percent nationwide, saffron flower production rate of between 15 to 20 percent increase over the previous year .
Miri said the approaching harvest season of saffron flower prices by 3% last Thursday ( pound 100 dollars ) declined.
