ingredients :
- White flour = 750 g
- White sugar = 180 grams
- Eggs = 2 pcs
- Baking powder = 2 teaspoons
- Warm low-fat milk = 3/4 glass
- Salt = 1/2 teaspoon
- Saffron mixed with hot water = 3 tablespoons
- Sour dough powder = 1 tbsp
- Lukewarm water = 1 cup
- Oil = as needed
Instruction :
Mix lukewarm milk with sourdough powder and 1 tablespoon of sugar in a sealed container and place in it. Let stand in a corner for 5 to 10 minutes to foam well.
Beat the eggs in a bowl with a fork so that they do not clot. Add the milk mixture and mix. Add sugar at this stage. After mixing the ingredients, add the saffron and lukewarm water and then add the flour little by little into the ingredients and mix well to get a smooth dough (there is no problem if the dough sticks a little to your hands).
Put the dough in a large bowl and cover it with cellophane. Let the dough rest for 1 hour. When the dough has doubled, it is ready. Sprinkle flour on the surface of the strainer and spread the dough on the board. Remove the sweets with a mold. After molding, drill a few holes in the dough with a fork.
In a large saucepan, fry the molded doughs in hot oil over low heat and regularly pour the hot oil into the dough with a spoon to make it puff better. After both sides of the dough are fried, place the sweets on a paper towel to remove excess oil. If you like, you can sprinkle sugar dust on them and serve delicious sweets.
