ingredients :
- Corn flour = 2 cups
- Wheat flour = 2 cups
- Baking powder = 2 teaspoons
- Baking soda = 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt and pepper = enough
- Eggs = 4 pieces
- Yogurt = 1 and 1/2 cup
- Saffron mixed with hot water = 1-2 teaspoons
- Grated cheddar cheese = 1/2 cup
- Melted butter = 120 g
- Hot dogs = 5 pcs
Instruction :
First, turn on the oven at 200 degrees Celsius and let it heat up. Spread greaseproof paper on a 20 cm square mold and grease it.
Pour the dry ingredients, namely top wheat flour, top corn flour, top baking powder, top baking soda and top salt and pepper into a large bowl and mix together. Grate cheddar cheese and pour into a bowl. In another bowl, mix the brewed saffron with the yoghurt until smooth. Then pour saffron yogurt, eggs and melted butter on the dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
Pour less than half of the cornbread dough into the prepared mold and smooth the surface. Now, place the hot dogs at a distance and parallel to the dough. Then pour the rest of the dough on them and spread in the mold.
Place the mold in the oven for about 20 minutes until the bread is golden brown. Then take it out of the oven. After cooling, take the cornbread with the hot dog out of the mold. Cut it parallel to 5 hot dogs (with 4 slices) and then divide each portion into two or three smaller portions and serve.
