Head of Jihad-e-Agriculture Organization of Kerman province pointed out that saffron is considered as a suitable cultivation pattern due to the lack of agricultural attention of the agricultural community, said: “Fortunately, we have welcomed the farmers of Kerman to saffron production so that this year 199 hectares are planted. And most of the cooperation has been with farmers in this regard.
It should be noted that the purpose of cultivating saffron in the province is to promote and replace this crop with regard to low water requirements and the creation of direct and indirect employment and the creation of value for money, including the objectives of red gold in the province.
