Peyman Yousefi Azar, the official of the Ministry of Jihad-e-Agriculture, announced the launch of the International Saffron Consortium, adding that the formation of this consortium is an important step for the presence of Iranian saffron at a well-priced and well-priced world market.
He said the consortium will start with the partnership and participation of three or four strong brands of the private sector in the saffron sector, while other strong brands can join the consortium.
The official in the Ministry of Jihad-e-Agriculture expressed his hope: “In the year 97, which is called the” Protection of Iranian goods “, we will be able to offer Iran saffron with the brand in the world market.

He also announced plans for medicinal plants to attract government job creation credits in rural and nomadic areas: 14 national herbs have been introduced along the value chain to attract these credits and will be implemented this year.
Yousefi Azar predicted the requirement for 14 national herbs plantations about 450 billion tomans.
He added that these projects are in the field of planting, harvesting, processing, market support and export, and the construction of medicinal plants processing plants.
