In Iran, no work has been done on saffron processing
Abdullah Mulla Filabi, a member of the scientific board of the Institute of Food Science and Technology in Khorasan region, said that so far saffron processing has not been done in Iran, while the world uses the effective ingredient in saffron called safranal, which has the property Anticancer, it has been producing capsules.
He said that saffron has proven anti-depressive properties, saying: “By using this property, and with the advancement of pharmaceutical and sanitary use of this product, we are looking to build a capsule, but this problem has not been applied in Iran, and saffron is merely a traditional consumption aspect has it.
“In Spain, saffron cream is used for anti-irritation in children’s gums and anti-crackers,” said a member of the faculty at the Institute of Food Science and Technology in the province, emphasizing that we are seeking to get out of the saffron crude.
Magalilabi, referring to the fact that saffron saffron oil or saffron spray was produced in Iran, said: The Food Science Institute has been working on this issue and its knowledge is available, but only a new honey for mass production of this product is needed. .
Referring to the fact that research centers in Iran are seeking medicinal products from saffron, he added: “Because of the high cost of saffron, the pharmaceutical and health products produced from it are also rising, and these products will only be for the rich.”
