Afghan investors want to export saffron with Iranian brand and packaging
The head of the Afghan Hoteliers Association, living in Mashhad, said: Currently, saffron onions are imported from the Islamic Republic And saffron cultivation has progressed in Afghanistan, but not as extensively as the Islamic Republic.
Shir Ahmad Arbabi stated:
I work in industry, mining, construction companies and hotel management in Iran. Khorasan province is geographically closer to Herat city And most of the Islamic Republic’s exports are to the city of Herat, Afghanistan Because it is 120 kilometers from the Dogharun border, As a result, traffic is faster and less expensive.
He added:
Currently from Iran food, food, building materials And all the resources in the province are imported to Herat, Because the Afghan people desperately need Iranian products, The cost of importing products from Dubai and Turkey is expensive And usually Iranian businessmen for the same purpose,
They prefer both language and religion.
Regarding the banking problems of Afghan businessmen, the head of the Afghan Hotel Owners Association in Mashhad said: Currently, there are banking problems And banking transactions are done through money and foreign exchange remittances But traders do their best
In order to import foreign currency into Iran in cash so as not to create obstacles for exports to Afghanistan.
Referring to the import of pistachios, dried fruits, fluff and wool from Afghanistan to Iran, Arbabi noted:
I encourage all Afghan investors to invest in the Islamic Republic Because there are a lot of protectionist laws for foreign investors And bureaucracy has declined.
He added:
The Islamic Republic is four seasons wide in terms of culture, civilization, rich mines and a country And we are very proud of our common language, culture and religion To serve in Khorasan and consider ourselves Khorasanians.
The head of the Afghan Hoteliers Association, living in Mashhad, stated:
Commercial competitors of the Islamic Republic of Iran are China, Turkey and Pakistan But trade with these countries is not stable. Traders are struggling because of family ties between the people of Iran and Afghanistan Do most of your business with your family and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Referring to the exhibition of investment and urban management opportunities, Arbabi said:
In this exhibition, more than five to six investors referred to me To invest in Iran,
Because now there are good conditions for investment in Iran
And attend meetings of the Ministry of Economy and Finance To solve the problems of investors.
Regarding the situation of saffron cultivation and export in Afghanistan, he continued:
Currently, saffron onions are imported from the Islamic Republic And saffron cultivation has improved in Afghanistan But it is not as large as the Islamic Republic.
Afghan saffron is of good quality But it has no quantity, so the investor is willing To export saffron under the brand and package of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
