He added: “According to the plans made this year, 100 centers will do the cleaning of saffron flowers, and the purchase price per kilogram of saffron flower is about 100 thousand tomans.
Head of Jihad Agriculture Organization of Khorasan Razavi said: Last year, the cultivated area of saffron was 84 thousand hectares and the production of this product was 289 tons. This year, with the increase in cultivated area, about 86 thousand hectares of saffron were harvested.
“We should also note that due to the drought and the decrease in crop losses over the past year, and the abundance of saffron cultivation and the possibility of cold and rainy time of flower harvesting, the production rate of saffron is expected to be 290 to 300 tons,” said Mazrouie. .
He said that 300 tons of saffron flowers have been bought from saffron, and the aim was to buy a deal, strengthen the cooperative and trade associations, to buy and sell agricultural products, especially saffron, in order to maintain price stability.
