According to the public relations of Jihad Keshavarzi, Heidari, director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Robat Karim city, announced the beginning of saffron harvest in 100 hectares of agricultural farms in Robat Karim city: Saffron cultivation in recent years in Robat Karim city has been welcomed by farmers and saffron harvest every year It starts from the beginning of October and continues until the end of November. It is expected that 600 kg of pure saffron will be harvested from this amount of cultivated area this year.
He added:. Farmers of Robat Karim will earn 120 million Tomans per hectare per hectare by harvesting this amount of saffron from the agricultural lands of Manjilabad, Yaghe Kikavar, Anjumabad and Peighambar villages.
In the end, Heydari emphasized on promoting and replacing plants with low water needs, on the development of saffron cultivation in Robat Karim and said: saffron cultivation has grown significantly in recent years in terms of having high economic efficiency and creating employment for families.
