The director of Taybad Jihad-e-Agriculture said: the saffron harvest started from about 4,560 hectares of farms in Taybad city.
Ali Asghar Khoshkhoo, director of Taybad Jihad-e-Agriculture, said on the sidelines of saffron harvest from the city’s farms: The average harvest of saffron flowers per hectare from the city’s farms is 390 kg and it is expected to produce 3.9 kg of dry saffron per hectare.
He stated: It is expected that at the end of the harvest season of this product, about 18 tons of saffron will be produced and sent to the markets.
Khoshkho, stating that the harvest of saffron continues until the end of November, said: in the harvest season of this product, a very high job creation will be created in the city.
He pointed to the good organization of the saffron flower market in Taybad and added: to focus on sales, prevent brokers and unsanitary sales, as well as having a well-known flower market for the convenience of buyers in other cities and to have a saffron brand called Taybad. , This market has been launched.
Harvesting 40,000 tons of fodder corn in Taybad The director of Taybad Agricultural Jihad also announced the beginning of fodder corn harvest in this city and said: in the current crop year, the area under fodder corn cultivation in this city reached 850 hectares.
He added: the cultivation of fodder corn in Taybad will start from the first decade of July and the harvest will start in the middle of October, and this cultivation is considered as the second spring cultivation after weaving crops.
He continued: Observing the correct principles of fodder corn cultivation, using proper seeds and proper soil nutrition will increase the production of this product.
The director of Taybad Jihad-e-Agriculture predicted that about 40,000 tons of fodder corn would be harvested in this city.
He considered the services provided to corn farmers as the distribution of improved seeds, the distribution of fertilizers and the constant presence of experts in the planting, harvesting and harvesting stages for corn farmers.
