Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari saffron became the rival of Khorasan saffron
Deputy of Plant Production Improvement of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Agricultural Jihad Organization said:

Hamidreza Danesh informed about the cultivation of 250 hectares of saffron in the province and said:

the quality of saffron is very high and can compete with Khorasan province.

The average yield of saffron is 5 kg per hectare, which is cultivated from early September to early October and is harvested from early November
to late November.
