Cultivation of saffron in 161 hectares of lands in Hamadan province
Mansour Rezvani Jalal said:
Cultivation of low water products in order to improve the consumption pattern and increase productivity in production
is on the agenda of this organization.
He said that the cultivation of medicinal plants as a hidden economic capacity in the agricultural sector of Hamedan can replace the production
of many agricultural products such as summer crops, he added:
cultivation of Mohammadi flowers, coriander; Fennel and saffron, in addition to being a significant currency for farmers,
can increase job creation in this part of the Hamadan province’s economy.
The head of the Jihad Agricultural Organization of Hamadan province added:
The necessary infrastructure for the cultivation of medicinal plants and water shortage in Hamadan province should be strengthened.

He stated:
Mohammadi flower cultivation with modern technology began in 1383 in 55 hectares of land in Hamedan,
which has now reached more than 180 hectares.
Rezvani Jalal added:
By developing the cultivation of medicinal plants and paying attention to infrastructure,
we can play an important and fundamental role in the implementation of new agricultural projects in Hamadan province.
