Increasing the planting of saffron in Khomein

“The tubers should be coarse, healthy, non-ulcerous, juicy and free from any disease, and their age should not exceed seven years. Excess skin and kope separate each onion so that the tubers are not attacked by pests and diseases after planting.

Saffron said that the city has the highest ranking in the production of saffron in the province of Markazi, with the statement that the soil type, climatic and essential oil has produced high quality saffron in the city.
oruji said: Last year, 50 kg of saffron was harvested from a 12 hectare cultivar.
