Safflower is a colorful plant that is called false saffron or lily of the valley in Persian. The flowers of this plant are usually tubular, reddish or orange, which looks similar to saffron in terms of appearance and properties.
Today, instead of saffron, the plant uses a variety of dishes, some stews or a yellow halo and halvah to make them dye. Of course, this volume of imports of zardak to Iran occurs in a situation where Iran is the first exporter of saffron to the world.
