The head of the National Saffron Council of Iran announced the unveiling of the national saffron brand of Iran at the Great German Food Fair (Anoga).

Mines and Agriculture, Mohsen Ehtesham, noting that the big German food exhibition (Anoga) was held in Cologne, Germany from 13 to 17 October 1398, said: This exhibition is one of the most prominent food exhibitions in the world for retail trade, food services and catering market.
He added: This special exhibition consists of 10 separate trade exhibitions under one roof, which focuses on future trends.

The head of the National Saffron Council of Iran stated: There are countless sources of inspiration throughout the exhibition’s 280,000-square-foot space, and in addition to displaying future market trends, attractive complementary programs, and the need for great business opportunities, those who have the opportunity to present their products at the fair are waiting.
The head of Birjand Chamber of Commerce said: Extensive activities of Birjand Chamber of Commerce over the past few years have led to the export of 400 tons of barberry from South Khorasan Province.
It will be on display at the booths of the world’s largest food fair, including the Anoga fair, which has been down to less than 50 tons over the past five years.
Ehtesham, referring to the presence of more than 150 countries in this exhibition, added:
26 companies from Iran in the field of nuts, barberry, saffron, pistachios, raisins, figs and dates are present in this exhibition.
He stated: In this exhibition, for the first time, the national saffron brand and the collective saffron sign with the presence of the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Frankfurt,
The chairman of the National Saffron Council and the chairman of the Birjand Chamber of Commerce, the chairman of the Ardabil Chamber of Commerce, the chairman of the Agriculture Commission of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce,the chairman of the Medicinal Plants Union and a group of exemplary exporters were unveiled.
The head of the National Saffron Council of Iran reminded: In the previous period about 160,000 business visitors from 192 countries participated and in this period 7,000 booths were gathered from 150 countries and this is a great opportunity to conquer new markets for Iranian and other participants.
