He specified: it is predicted that about 2 grams to 1 kilogram of saffron will be harvested from 2 square meters of cultivated land.

Abbasi estimated the amount of saffron bulbs per hectare at 1 ton and added: The high price of onions in this crop is currently the only concern of the farmer. Take action.

He said that due to the high resistance of saffron onions to cold, the growth of this product is in autumn, winter and early spring, he said: there is no problem to supply water and you can cultivate this product without worries.

The director of agricultural jihad in Bijar stated: Our goal is to promote saffron cultivation in Bijar. Accordingly, in the last few days, the first saffron cultivation promotion class was held with the participation of 3 farmers, and in addition to learning, a certificate was issued for this training course.
