Production of 480 kg of dried saffron in Darmian city
The director of Darmian agricultural jihad said:
the area under saffron cultivation in Darmian city is 202 hectares, from which 480 kg of dry saffron was produced.
He added:
the area under cultivation of rainfed and irrigated gardens of the city is 341 and 2 thousand and 919 hectares, respectively.
Regarding the development and promotion of new crops that need less water, the director of Jihad Keshavarzi Darmian said:
Currently, cultivation of fodder sorghum, millet and fodder corn instead of spring weaving, triticale cultivation in the autumn cultivation pattern
for livestock forage and cultivation by method New easy cultivation in autumn cereals to save water consumption and combat salinity
and pay attention to the new wheat cultivars Alvand and Anfarm as a hardy and productive cultivar is on the agenda.
Regarding agricultural and livestock products insurance, Varasteh added:
