Production of 97% of the world’s saffron in Iran
The deputy director of the Trade Development Organization of Iran said: 97% of the world’s saffron is produced in the country.
Engineer Mohammad Reza Mododider stated: In the world, a lot of efforts have been made to destroy the Iranian brand and reduce the hope of improving the situation.
He added: It cannot be said that deprivation is limited to a specific area and this issue is beyond the borders.
Mawdudi continued: Currently, our main reliance is on export products and stocks that we have, but we have not worked on their brand.
The Deputy Minister of Export Development, Goods and Services of the Trade Development Organization of Iran, stating that 97% of the world’s saffron is produced in the country, said: Unfortunately, we do not interfere in the price and market of this product.
He considered the biggest capacity of the province to be related to the issue of tourism and pointed out: in this regard, no one pays attention and we should ask why we can not do well outside the borders.
Referring to the brand festival, Mawdudi added: We must strengthen the country’s brands and develop them. Currently, in terms of GDP, Iran ranks 28th among the countries in the world and we have the 19th largest market in the world, but the value of our exports is 166.
