Saffron cultivation in Khorramabad, Iran
Director of Agriculture Khorramabad changing cropping patterns in the city is satisfied.
Murad Beyranvand in an interview with ISNA, said last year that this year’s acreage of saffron in the city of 45 hectares to 27 hectares have been added.
He continued on to saffron farmers who have the benefit of this product are satisfied and have a good income.
Beyranvand talk about changing crop patterns, remarked: According to the conditions and lack of water have no choice but to change the culture in the city of Khorramabad in this respect had a good run.
Director of Agriculture Khorramabad added: rapeseed cultivation also took first place in our province and the area under cultivation in Khorramabad, 704 hectares.
He said the change in cropping pattern, planting canola, saffron has been emphasized.
