The important role of saffron in the development of Khorasan Razavi exports
The governor of Khorasan Razavi said: organizing the problems on the development and trade of saffron products is in line with the priorities of the province’s management.
Mohammad Sadegh Motamedian in a joint meeting with members of the National Saffron Council, which was held at the governor’s office, said: Saffron is a strategic product in the country and the province that saffron product in terms of implementing resistance economic policies and export development for the province management has it.
He said: Considering the importance of this product and its compatibility with the province’s climate, it requires that the responsible agencies in the fields of export development, providing the necessary infrastructure and introducing the product to different countries do their best.
Motamedian pointed out: Problems in organizing the development and trade of saffron products should be clearly counted and solved in consultation with the responsible agencies.
According to the report of the General Department of Public Relations of Khorasan Razavi Governorate, it is worth mentioning that in this meeting, a number of activists in the field of saffron production, processing and export presented their views on the province’s production and trade capacities and problems in this field.
