The level of saffron cultivation in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari is increasing

The head of the Agricultural Jihad Organization of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province said:
the area under saffron cultivation in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari is increasing.

Atallah Ebrahimi, pointing out that Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari is one of the provinces prone to saffron cultivation, said:
228 hectares of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari lands are under saffron cultivation,
from which it is expected that about 912 kg of saffron will be harvested.

He added:
Due to the climatic climate and topography of the province, saffron produced in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari has a high quality,
aroma and coloring power.

He pointed to the high employment and income generation of this product and said:
saffron, in addition to being a source of income for farmers, creates employment for many people during the harvest season.

Ebrahimi, referring to the many benefits of saffron cultivation, said:
Saffron is a plant with low water consumption and has many advantages,
while the growth period of this plant and its physiology is such that it uses rainfall to meet its water needs.
