The head of the Bardaskan Crisis Management Coordination Council announced the order of the governor of Khorasan Razavi to save the saffron farms in the foothills of the city from the water crisis.
Mohammad Abbaspour, the governor of Bardaskan, said that one of the problems of the city is the issue of rescuing saffron farms in the mountainous region of Bardaskan from the water crisis and said: Have the necessary cooperation with the top management of the city.
The governor of Bardaskan added: According to the governor’s order, our priority in the city is to save the saffron farms in the mountainous region from the water shortage crisis by water tanker to the farms, which requires the officials of the executive organs of the province to mobilize the necessary facilities for this city.
Abbaspour said: If we do not reach the dry and waterless saffron fields, only the farmers of the region will be destroyed and on the other hand, it may cause the migration of villagers to the cities.
He called on the officials of the executive apparatus to implement the governor’s order and not to join hands in this regard; Because water supply to saffron farms in the foothills of Bardaskan must be done from the first of October.
The governor of Bardaskan, referring to the facilities available in the city, said: the facilities of the city are not responsible in any way; Because even the devices have rented private sector tankers to supply water to their sections.
He said: Considering that more than 600 hectares of saffron farms in the foothills of Bardaskan region are thirsty for water, with the facilities available in Bardaskan city, only the possibility of water supply to 5% of these farms is possible, which requires the implementation of these important Put on their agenda so that the city’s saffron farms are supplied with water at least once.
He said: If the facilities are not accountable, we will involve the private sector in this important issue by providing credit with the measures that the governor will take.
