Development of cultivation and harvesting of saffron in “Afghanistan” began

According to the International Service News Agency, thanks to Ali Rashid, a spokesman for Afghanistan’s Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation 5-year development program announced saffron cultivation and harvesting.

A spokesman for Afghanistan’s Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation said that next year 500 tons of saffron bulbs to farmers in 30 provinces will be distributed.

He pointed out that this year in addition to the construction of two large laboratories measuring the quality of saffron in Afghanistan, 10 saffron production facility will be built.

A spokesman for Afghanistan’s Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation said on the program to train farmers to expand the cultivation of saffron notice.

He said the development of saffron this year 12 thousand farmer training program is being implemented.
